Aerosmith was created in 1970 in New Hampshire by drummer-turned-vocalist Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry. They were later joined by bassist Hamilton, guitarist Whit ford, and drummer Kramer. And they soon relocated to Boston, where they became club favorites.
In 1973 they released their debut album on Columbia Records and found a hit single in “Dream On.” Aerosmith returned late the next year with Get Your Wings, which stayed on the charts for over 85 weeks despite little airplay.
It was in 1975 that Aerosmith would break through with the release of Toys in the Attic with the hit singles, “Sweet Emotion” and “Walk This Way” pushing the album to #11 and producing some of classic rock’s best known standards.

They made the strike La Bamba, and made a distinct imprint on the world of stone. There are so many intellectual reasons to champion Los Lobos, such as their Americans Dream-like climb from the “other” side of the Los Angeles River to worldwide stardom, or their nearly seamless stylistic embrace of sadness, rockabilly, R&B, country, heartland rock, jazz, folk, Tex-Mex, norteno & Mexican traditional, their success at distributing outside concede the song of their Mexican-American history to a wider audience, and their uncommon competence to bring people of assorted cultures together through their song. But more than anything else, Los Lobos are simply a excellent rock band.
Los Lobos was one of America’s most distinguished and original bands of the ’80s. They might have had a hit with “La Bamba” in 1987, nonetheless that cover barely scratches the surface of their talents. Los Lobos is eclectic in the best sense of the word. While they draw similarly from rock, Tex-Mex, country, folk, R&B, sadness, & traditional Spanish & Mexican song, their music never audio’s forced or self-conscious. Instead, all of their influences change into 1 seemly, dirty sound. From their very first recordings their rich musicality was apparent; on as good as all successive record they have pinpointed ways to redefine and expand their sound, without at any point deviating from the musical traditions that form the heart and essence of the rope.
